Our CEO

Veye Marketing is led by CEO and Digital Marketing Strategist Victor J. McCoy, with over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in business development and Marketing. Victor has assisted in the start-up of more than 100 businesses (for-profit and non-profit) in Virginia alone.

As a former business plan development instructor with the Richmond, Virginia office of the U.S Small Business Administration -Veterans Department (serving non-Veterans also) under the direction of Mr. Leroy Harris (now retired), he has helped many small business owners develop business strategies to start and grow their businesses successfully. In some cases, the advice was “not” to start a particular venture because the idea would not be profitable for the individual to do so. As an associate business analyst with the Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center of Hampton Roads, under the direction of Mr. Jim Carroll, he was able to continue providing empirical data and market trend information to clients seeking assistance in the start-up or growth phase of their business. He credits his skills to great mentors like former Senator Scott Rigell (formally president of Freedom Automotive Group), Dennis Ackerman, retired (2005) director of the Old Dominion University Bank of America Entrepreneurial Center – College of Business and Public Administration (Internship MBA program), Peter Shaw Professor of Business and Economics at Tidewater Community College.

His professional and academic affiliations show Victor’s dedication to education and community service. As a former adjunct professor at Central Virginia Community College and a board member of several non-profit and for-profit organizations, he continues to contribute to the growth and development of his community.

As a digital marketing professional, I hold 11 certificates for successfully completing the study of digital marketing, including Google Analytics, Big Data Analytics, Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Web Marketing Strategies, and Marketing Analytics.

He has received many commendations for his work with the Veterans Business Development Committee, a business outreach program of the US Small Business Administration, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. He received a commendation from the mayor of Portsmouth, Virginia, for his work in developing community-based programs that included other non-profit organizations in developing and implementing programs to assist low-income to no-income residents with employment training. He has led community-based projects in Hampton Roads, Virginia, with CBN’s Operation Blessing. He has helped (and continues) to coordinate and develop village-based projects on the West Coast of Africa.
Victor J. McCoy was born in Norfolk, VA, and moved to Lynchburg to complete his MBA in Digital Marketing at Liberty University.
